Love Sufjan. This is another mellow masterpiece. There aren't many songwriters in the world that can do something this perfect with a guitar, a couple of vocal tracks, and the odd synth overdub. It seems very well produced, even though I know some of the parts were recorded on an iPhone in hotel rooms. We're in an incredible period of history that this is possible and commonplace. It feels so intimate, and maybe how it was recorded is part of why.
