i love a good grower. give it a few shots and you’ll be rewarded.
it’s a masterclass in minimalism yet hits so hard. apparently produced by ghost culture who also has released some great music.
being a girl dad this is mandatory listening and I was apprehensive about it, but the honest truth is it really is very... well made. phenomenal songwriting even though I can’t stand musicals. show more
ms rachel’s solo work from 2006.
a surprise album I dropped today.
i've always wanted to drop something like this without hyping it up for months.
this isn't a... typical album for me as it's a mellow ambient and instrumental work.
a lot has happened in the world and my personal life since BOY in 2020. there's a deep melancholy to that record and it took me a while to find my creative footing.
this album is representative of this period of reinvention and early fatherhood. It's perhaps a reaction to the turbulence, but ultimately an honest reflection of where I'm at.
I hope you like it. show more
back in the day i would play this album endlessly while playing age of empires 2. i can’t explain it, but it works.... show more
i'm rediscovering some more modern metal. it was such an important part of my teenage years and it's cool to hear newer bands... that were inspired by the same stuff i grew up on.
there's definitely some deftones in here and I like the melodic/shoegazey moments mixed with the heavier stuff. show more
top album of 2024.

Here is my brand new collab with the amazing Miami Horror. I've followed Ben's career for so long and have always wanted to... work together.
This all happened during a very tumultuous time in my life, I was weeks away from having my first kid, trying to manage a restaurant/bar project I started, and find time to be creative in all of that. I think it lended itself to be more focused and not waste time overthinking it, it just felt right.
I'm really excited for you guys to hear the full album as it's really great and I'm so stoked to be a part of it. show more
first impressions: very good.
