Shameless plug!
I wrote this song as an homage to blink 182's "I Miss You". Think of this as a futuristic part 2 to... "I Miss You" with lyrical references from the song as well as references from "I'm Lost Without You".
It's an energetic pop punk song with a mix of electronic dance music with twists and turns that keep your ears perked. show more
My favorite track from this album is definitely Apple. I think the reason is because the baseline and synth get your head bobbing... right out the gate and mix is so freaking good.
It's simple and has a great message. A lot of this album is very experimental, alike this song, but more extreme in those other songs. I like something that is more acessible but experimental enough to be interesting, and this song hits it on the head. show more
Shameless plug!
I wrote this song while in college after a girl rejected me. At the time we had a very close connection that... ignited and died as fast as it started.
I was lead on and the experience was so ironic with others around me seeing the connection as genuine and deep, when in reality under the surface there was nothing on the other side.
I felt so empty in the stomach the next day and having to interact with this person for weeks after in my class made me feel weightless.
I felt like the world around me was moving and I was just floating like a ghost. I couldn't talk to this person and I couldn't express my emotions but to write this song. show more
Another amazing intro riff. That flangey, distorted tone is addictive.
I love the metaphor of skeletons pulling you down from my hope to... forgive someone.
To me this the perfect bitter sweet analogy to describe what it feels like to hate people you loved when you were younger.
Makes me think of all the rejections I got in life from old crushes and how they burned my hope with all of their deception and humiliation efforts. show more
THE BEST intro to Scooby Doo, uncontestable.
Such a fun, high-energy pop-punk anthem for a classic, all time cartoon.
So catchy and makes... me love Simple Plan more every time I listen! show more
This song really needs no introduction to the pop punk community, but F*** it.
I remember what it was like to be single... in the winter, alone, visiting your parent back home for the holidays and getting ridiculed for being young, alone, and introverted.
This song was a lifeline for the wintertime for me. I always listened to this after feeling rejection from some girl who lead me on for her own entertainment.
This one hits the feels every time, especially the one with Mark Hoppus.

I really loved the performance of this song on SNL.
I am not an active fan of Lady Gaga, but this song has some.... very cool dynamics.
Transitions between electronic catchy rhythms and strong vocal performances from Gaga.
Definitely watch the performance on youtube, worth the watch!
I like it! Very catchy! show more
The intro riff hooks me every time. It has amazing pop punk angst and energy and I love the guitar tone. I think... this is a very underrated song that hits the feels and captures the essence of pop punk show more

I wrote this song about what it feels like to be an outsider in young adulthood and resenting the popular people in... your life.
Often the popular people in your life can be powerful and destructive to themselves and others.
They social humiliate others and exploit others with their power of attention and influence.
This is a FU to the popular people who have wronged you and a celebration of what it means to be an outsider and to be unique and amazing in your own way. show more
