The album opens up with a low pitched monologue: “I want you to know something. don’t want to hear no more sad songs. Heartbreaks... and hard days. What about the good times? What about love?” This intro really sets the tone for the entire album. Big summer vibes while maintaining that cool and collected Kota style. If more releases followed this light hearted sentiment I think we’d all be having a lot more fun. show more

Probably my favorite indie album of ‘24. We’re only half way through but this was released in January and still in rotation. Reminiscent... of The Smiths with a modern, spacey, melancholy vibe without sounding overly sad. Great band and album. show more
