Estonian shoegaze got a fresh addition! It doesn't hit as hard as some of my favoutites and melda more into a nice background... atmosphere, but shoegeaze does that a lot of the times, so nothing wrong with that. The guitar parts that pop out are just lovely and the vocal parts are hazy, but concrete and comforting enough to make the whole vibe happy sounding. I enjoy this album a lot. show more
Another shameless promotion. Chalike like rap, vulnerable, simple. Opressive chorus synth-strings are far more opressive than anything in the verses, proud of this one!
ROTH BART BARON is one of the most unique singers out there. His falsetto mastery is out of this world. I've loved his... previous stuff, not all, but the songs I do are like core tunes for me. And this song is one of them. The guitar parts, his seamless but comforting use of horns, vocals, warmth.. can't get enough. Plus he releases so often! show more
Well, that's my song, of course I love it to bits! What a cool drum&bass song that isn't really a drum&bass song, funny... lyrics, damn catchy chorus... Yay! show more
No clue what the genre is, country, emo? Whatever, I'm here to stay. It works superbly as an album, much better than when... singles are taken out of context. Some songs separately don't often have that catchy thing to make them stand out, but in the album they work wonders. Repeating motifs, flow, the wholeness is superb. The song Doom, which I already loved, works even better in the album. The LP is cute and inspiring, soft and heavy when it needs to be. I wish the band would know how much they've made my days, months I've spent listening to them better. The art of the album isn't dead. show more
Some songs are just fantastic earworms, powerful and bold, while others are more regular and, to me, a little boring. So I picked... out the ones I like and let the rest be. But the masters are so loud and there's absolutely no room, movement or power left in the mixes. It feels dead and hurts my head. So a lot to love, some to dislike and some that's just there. show more
Magnificent from start to finish. Full of surprises and bold moves, not a single song leaves me cold.
Nii Taavi-Peeter kui olla saab. Kui ta varem on meeldinud, meeldib praegu ka. Julgelt ta ise. Tervikuna on EP veelgi kokkuköidetum ja terviklikum.... Maitsed on erinevad ja käigud töötavad. show more
So dreamy, sounds sad, makes me float.
Whole album just slaps, Lithuanian makes it mysterious and cool. But Polish Escape and Anglys are just fantastic experiences. The way the bass... breathers in the fake-dnb Anglys or how the drumsnaps slap in Polish Escape...oh dear show more
