Thomas Rousseau is an electronic french composer. He blends orchestral sounds (mainly string... and percussion compositions) with electronic music elements in a stunning, seamless manner unlike anything I’ve ever heard.
This project is the breathe of fresh air I’ve been eagerly looking for. It’s honestly unfair to compare him - but if you’re a fan of ODESZA’s sound design and drums, please do yourself a favor and check this out.

my best friend and I were taking a road trip from DC to NYC during the summer.
he kept saying I need to... play you a song once we get on the highway. I had zero idea what it was so I was just eagerly guessing.
soon as we’re on cruise control - he closes the windows, opens up SoundCloud and that was the first time I heard “Let it Happen”.
still to this day one of the best memories of my life.
but that song has also stood the test of time as the best intro song to an album I’ve heard. show more
