I've already written 3000+ words for this album on RYM, and so I'll leave that factoid alone as testament. This is close to... magnum opus; a story about self-defilement, hatred, loss of self, redemption through sexuality, but also a thinly-veiled message from Vylet Pony to listen to every album Peter Gabriel made with Genesis (you would not BELIEVE the amount of references, samples, and interpolations that come from both his solo discography and that with Genesis). I might have marked the middle three as favorites (The Wallflower Equation, Princess Cuckoo, Sludge), but make no mistake, I never listen to them, because they tear my guts out every time. show more
