The absolute audacity to follow up Antidotes with an 8 minute single of ambient piano and synths. Spanish Sahara dropped after a two... year gap and it showed such a different side to Foals and man I must have played that song 200 times. This whole album is more accomplished and I come back to it a lot more than Antidotes even if its overall influence isn’t as strong. Nothing else Foals released after this really captured me but those first two albums are really special. show more
