zach: Darkness On the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen

"Poor man wanna be rich / Rich man wanna be king. And a king ain't satisfied 'til he rules everything." If that doesn’t just sum it up. I’ve got maybe 5 or 6 Bruce songs I know and love (I've always been more of a Zevon guy*). None of these hit that level for me, but they’re all, y’know… good. They’re Bruce. #1001albums *That said, Springsteen’s cover of Zevon’s "My Ride’s Here" might be the best either of them ever sounded.
