I was a big fan of Tame Impala back in 2010 when InnerSpeaker came out, but for some reason I wasn’t a big... fan of Currents or The Slow Rush when they came out. I just felt like it wasn’t the same. Well fast forward to 2022 at Forecastle, I saw them live and it all clicked. This was part of The Slow Rush tour which had a laser show. I’ve finally revisited this album and it’s stellar. show more

my best friend and I were taking a road trip from DC to NYC during the summer. he kept saying I need to... play you a song once we get on the highway. I had zero idea what it was so I was just eagerly guessing. soon as we’re on cruise control - he closes the windows, opens up SoundCloud and that was the first time I heard “Let it Happen”. still to this day one of the best memories of my life. but that song has also stood the test of time as the best intro song to an album I’ve heard. show more
