This is a very hidden piece of musical art. When I started singing rock in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it was absolutely impossible to be a woman rockstar. I mean, you could, but it was hard! No one wanted to play with you — even women were hidden away, playing alone in their houses. Sexism was strong. After trying, I decided to become a singer of all genres. It was easier to make money and grow in my career. This album brings back a vision I had when I was 17 years old, and I’m happy to see that someone was able to make it happen. This is the first COOL, not OLD SCHOOL, rockstar in Argentina — in 2016, at the very beginning of the strong feminist movement in my country. I hope you like it.
