Loyle Carner is a standout in a category where optimism can sometimes feel corny and disingenuous. I love how he creates honestly and his delivery is cool and collected. He’s not for everybody but he’s a wonderful change of pace. Some bars sound like straight poetry. If you’re looking to reset your ears I highly recommend giving this ep a listen.
