Aside from the delightful name, the sonic range of the Gizzard and the Wizard is wider than the Pacific Ocean at times. This is a great entry point to the band. Though you may have to persevere through the bold 18 minute opening track there’s some real gems on this, and it takes you on a journey through the sort of thing you’ll find on their themed albums. 30 and counting... "The dripping tap won't be turned off by the suits in charge of the world and our future's hanging on by a thread, with our heads in the sand."
