IMO this is the best pop/rap album from the 21st century. Technically a collab album, but Kanye deserves a lot of credit for... bringing this calibre of work out of everyone. edit: GOOD Fridays isn't fully acknowledged as its own album but IMO it was also better than most other albums in the last 20y. Tragic that it's so hard to find. show more

have trouble listening to this one much these day due to the shenanigans of present day but for years, especially in the early years... of marian hill, this was a vital musical palette cleanser for me. anytime i got stuck and everything i was making felt stale i would listen to this album front to back and things would open up and i'd remember why i loved making music in the first place. show more

this album signifies the best hip-hop offering from 2010 bar none. it spawned four diverse singles, a short film, and several timeless live... performances. i have this physical album with the large poster + short film DVD. Runaway is a classic, but i'm more of a Hell of a Life kinda guy. a bombastic juxtaposition of art, culture, design, vulnerability, bravado, traditionalism, experimentalism, futurism, and imagination. would recommend. show more
