The one I keep returning to, this album finds itself at the perfect blend of the different era's on Fontaines' sound. The dark and moody is punctuated by the glistening and beautiful, and real tenderness (in 'The Couple Across the Way'). In light of 'Romance' being released I can definitely see Fontaines fans severing into lovers of the early and later work. This record seems to be the great unifier in the middle.
