joe: Romance by Fontaines D.C.

I hate to spoil the party, but it's not as a good as their previous work. The poppier, radio-playable, sweeter sounds on tracks like "Favourite" might get singles to chart but they just aren't for me. That being said, this is still a great run of unmistakably Fontaines tunes, and there is definitely some gritter stuff in there, including some shoegazey elements, almost certainly inspired by fellow Irish artist "My Bloody Valentine".
