After an afternoon trundling through interviews and live recordings, Hi, How Are You feels more raw than usual. I appreciate the process of using creativity to work through crisis for your own sake, and especially appreciate how it has been recognised as such. Lo-fi through circumstance, rather than a trend. Strikes a chord for me particularly when it comes to the idea of authenticity—this is real. It's not outsider music. It's real.
