This album is one of many reasons why Cage The Elephant are my favourite band of all time. Finding this band and this album was a personal discovery that really built the foundations of my music taste and I think for that, it will always have a special place. This album has always felt like it's mine and that no one can change that, no person or think can taint my connection with it. This album has some of the bands best lyricism and composition, and easily the best production. Front to back, it's nothing but strong personal lyrics of a dark time of struggle, all over the most beautiful and enjoyable instrumentals. With great guitar tones, a range of drum tones, it's such a great listen. And it will always remain my favourite album of all time.
